Website structure

http://www.andrewgransdenphotography.co.uk/passion.php

Andre Grandsen's Photography website is a great example of how structure can make your website an enjoyable one. This website displays easy to understand links (navigation) and allows the user to move through the web pages effortlessly. One thing that I really enjoy about this style of website is the header, the photographer has added some of his work to each individual page allowing you to see his work without ever visiting his gallery. His navigation bar is also something that I was impressed by. It only includes a few links such as: Home, Passion, News, Contact, and some of his galleries, but under each of the links there are sub links that allow you to see multiple pages that are under that category.
This type of layout and structure allows the user to easily navigate through the pages and fully understanding what it is that you are heading into. The pages also load quickly even though there are a lot of images on some of the pages.

  1. I like how this website keeps it simple. Low number of webpage links. It's easy to navigate throughout the whole site. I understand what each page link means and can go to that. I like the use of pictures on each page as well.

  2. This is a great site because its compact meaning that you don't have to scroll everywhere just to find what your looking for. I think its great for a photography portfolio site. The only thing I would do is change the font color over the banner.
